assume good faith

Page history last edited by Andrew Alder 5 years, 4 months ago

Unlike Wikipedia, Unimpedia has a genuine policy of assuming good faith. It has two aspects:

1. Assume good faith on the part of others. That's the Wikipedia theory. The reason it doesn't work is that they miss out on the second part.

2. Assume an attitude of good faith youself. We could go into details, but they're far too important to rate a mention here.

The second part can be summarised by the official Unimpedia motto lighten up. This is not negotiable. Those who do not lighten up will be banned or worse. And there will be whaling and nashing of teeth.
